Cocktails, Conversation, Connections and Cannolis!
What better way to enjoy a summer evening than crusing along the Intracoastal Waterway. The rain stopped, a breeze picked up and we were on our way!

Enjoying the evening below are our webmaster, Chris Bennett and Chapter Secretary Vicki Kirsner. Without the efforts of Chris and Vicki we would not have anyone at our events since they create the invitation and eblast it all. Thanks Chris and Vicki! Alongside are friends Carla Blanca and Teresa Gottes.
This is the most relaxing fun way to network. Every event is an opportunity to make new contacts and continue to lasting strong relationships with IFDA members and sponsors.
We even got time to reconnect with former members such as Jeannie Coppers who returned from Down Under and surprised us. Here she catches up with another former member and current Chapter Sponsor Tom Daugherty of T Square Construction.
Below deck Marsha Koch chats with guest Annette Smith and member and sponsor Linda Roberts of House of Appliances. While Annette has attended some of our events as a guest she has plans to join IFDA in the near future. We look forward to having you in our chapter, Annette.

Beverly Stewart, Past President and VP of Events found the perfect spot to celebrate the evening with her friends. Bev also played a big part in organizing this cruise. (Beverly is wearing green.)
As the sun began to set we all made our way to the inviting dining room with paneled walls, pretty sconces and candle lit tables. The Italian buffet was the inspiration for our cannolis which we brought from a fabulous local market.

It was great seeing member Sue Heller and husband Jeff (foreground) and Lynn’s sister and husband who have just moved to Florida…..maybe some of our members or sponsors could be of help in their first weeks of being Florida residents. As a matter of fact they may already be working with one of our sponsors!
Hearing all about Jeannie’s adventures in Austalia, New Zealand and Bali was amazing. We are encouraging her to start a chapter wherever she lands and we will all come for a visit! It was really fun seeing her again.
As we cruised along the lights began to twinkle on the water, the cocktails had been sipped, the outrageous cannolis were long gone but the converstation lingered until we were dockside again.
Thank you Delray Yacht Cruises for a lovely evening. We had a large group and the dining room was all ours. The staff was so friendly and attentive too.
